Our Mission
As children, youth, adults and families come to Camp Yorktown Bay, they are able to escape the busyness and distractions of this world and come to a place where they can focus on what is truly important. Our goal at Camp Yorktown Bay is to provide a safe and fun environment where campers of all ages and backgrounds can come together and learn about Jesus Christ.
For the children and youth, this means digging deep into God's word while experiencing amazing adventures and learning new skills. It means having time to focus on our Creator in the midst of swimming, riding, climbing, jumping, and singing. You'll see the love of God shine through the counselors and staff while experiencing all the fun and excitement of being at summer camp. Most importantly, it means a life-changing week with the One who loves you the most while being surrounded by experiences you'll never forget.
For the adults (Family Camp), it means a week of fun with their families, a time to experience peace and enjoy the quiet that Camp Yorktown Bay has to offer. Step out into nature and remind yourself of who God is and who we are. The fun and excitement are brought together with rest, refreshment and a relationship with God that will leave you changed forever. When someone else is cooking, cleaning, watching your children, and planning activities it is amazing how easy it is to forget the hustle and bustle of life.
